Mr. IMAMURA Kazuki, a third-year graduate student in our graduate school, received the “Young Scientist Award” at the 4th Joint Conference on Environmental Chemicals (The 33rd Annual Meetings of the Japan Society of Environmental Chemistry / The 29th Annual Meetings of the Japanese Society of Environmental Toxicology) held in Yamagata City from July 15 to July 18, 2025.

Presentation Title: Evaluations of sediment toxicities using fish embryos and their temporal variations

Presentation Outline: Various chemicals resulted from industrial activities remain in coastal sediments and have been suspected to effect on the benthic organisms. In this presentation, Effect evaluations in coastal sediments collected from the Ise Bay were performed and their variations were examined.
