Our student received the ‘Excellent Oral Presentation Award’ at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Ichthyological Society of Japan.

At the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Ichthyological Society of Japan held at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology from 21 to 24 November, Mr. HASHIMOTO Shintaro, a second-year student at our graduate school, received the ‘Excellent Oral Presentation Award’.
 
The Excellent Oral Presentation Award of the Ichthyological Society of Japan is given to student members and students of foreign members who have made excellent research presentations at the annual meeting, and one to two students are selected for each of the two fields of taxonomy and ecology. There were 231 presentations (94 orals; 137 posters), of which 120 (50; 70) were by students.
